《魂落客》HELLRIDER
最近過度注視《魔法風雲會》決定做了這小小的《冥幽》變體。華語的遊戲名稱是「鵬洛客」的一語雙關的俏皮話，英文的遊戲名稱來自競逐時空變體的機制名稱—[「 hellride 」]就是為了逃離知道不喜歡的時空，在地圖上往斜逃到完全不知道的時空。
Recently after hyperfixating on Magic: The Gathering I decided to make this little Shades of Hell hack. The Mandarin game title is a pun on the Mandarin translation for planeswalker, and the English game title comes from a mechanic in a variant of Planechase—to hellride is to flee diagonally on the map to a plane you don't know for the sake of escaping a plane you do know.
魂落客跟鵬洛客的大差別是：魂落客不是什麼偉大的英雄或反派，有時候連魔法都不會用—他們是受到創傷被強迫流浪的瘋子。他們是每種魔法顏色在最無力狀態的代表。他們每天活在不知道明天會不會神經完全崩潰的階段。他們過的是煉獄之命。
The major difference between hellriders and planeswalkers is: hellriders aren't some great heroes or villains; sometimes they aren't even users of magic—they are traumatized mad folk forced to wander. They are every Magic color at their most debilitated. Every day they exist at a point where they don't know whether or not they're going to completely lose their mind tomorrow. Their life is purgatory.
他們遊戲的目標不是了解如何上天堂。遊戲沒有目標，只有可能選擇的方向。當然會有玩家想去天堂；我也無法阻擋他們。某些人覺得同人遊戲的目的就是為了複製遵照官方內容的故事；我認為目的是為了給自己超越官方限制的工具。像是創造一個小丑鵬洛客。小丑鵬洛客萬歲。
The goal of their game is not to figure out how to get to heaven. The game has no goals, only potential directions. Of course there will be players who want to go to heaven; of course I have no way to stop them. Some people think the point of a fangame is to faithfully reproduce canon; I believe the point is to give yourself the tools to go beyond its limits. Like making a clown planeswalker. 忘了講一件事：創主角的隨機六咒方方式也可以用來產生其他遊戲角色的魔風顏色。純色機率大約 45%、雙色機率大約 27%、三色機率大約 16%、四色機率大約 7%、五色機率大約 3%、六色機率大約 1%（見電子試算表）。
I forgot to mention: the randomization method for the 6 Ways in protagonist creation can also be used to generate the Magic colors of other characters in the game. There's a roughly 45% chance of being monocolored, roughly 27% of being two colors, roughly 16% of being three colors, roughly 7% of being 4 colors, roughly 3% of being 5 colors, and roughly 1% of being 6 colors (see the spreadsheet).
